We’re looking for a motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our day-to-day accounting operations running smoothly, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting compliance across the business. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
You will…
💳 Process Ramp transactions and employee reimbursements, ensuring accurate coding and proper synchronization with the ERP system.
🧾 Process and review weekly invoices in Ramp.
📊 Maintain and oversee the prepaid expenses schedule, ensuring accuracy in tracking and reporting including maintaining up to date software vendor tracking system.
📝 Post payroll entries with correct allocations and ensure timely reconciliation.
🏦 Perform monthly bank reconciliations to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
📑 Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
💵 Post accounts receivable (AR) payments and reconcile outstanding balances.
⚖️ Act as primary point of contact with third-party providers to ensure compliance with applicable US federal and state laws related to HR / labor as well as taxes (workers compensation, payroll, annual report filing, state/local, sales, income etc.).
📬 Manage incoming mail and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
🧮 Respond to payroll tax inquiries and collaborate with tax authorities to ensure compliance.
You have…
🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
📈 2-4 years of hands-on accounting experience
🖥️ Comfortable working with ERP systems and expense management platforms (Ramp experience a plus)
📚 Solid grasp of GAAP standards and core accounting practices
🔍 Exceptional eye for detail with strong organizational abilities
⏱️ Skilled at juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment
✍️ Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal
