Job Summary:

As an Expo (Expeditor), you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring every meal we serve meets our high standards of quality, accuracy, and timeliness. You’ll be the bridge between our kitchen team and guests, ensuring seamless communication and flawless execution. If you’re highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to have you on our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Coordination: Ensure all food orders are prepared correctly, plated accurately, and delivered to the correct table or pickup station on time.

  • Quality Control: Inspect each dish for accuracy, presentation, and quality before it leaves the kitchen. Address any issues promptly with the kitchen staff.

  • Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the kitchen and guests, relaying special requests, modifications, or delays effectively.

  • Organization: Maintain a clean and organized expo station, ensuring all utensils, garnishes, and condiments are readily available.

  • Problem-Solving: Resolve order discrepancies or guest complaints related to food quality or delivery with professionalism and efficiency.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff, management and guests t to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.

  • Adherence to Standards: Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably in an expo or similar role.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a high-volume or multi-concept kitchen.

  • Knowledge of POS systems and order management.

  • A passion for food and hospitality.
