We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Lead to join the Upwind Security team. In this role, you will be a critical driver of partnerships with Cloud Service Providers (CSPs). Your goal will be to develop and execute strategies that accelerate growth and drive sales through CSP partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day relationships and sales development activities with Cloud Service Providers.
- Drive field engagement between Upwind Security and CSP sales and channel teams to meet sales targets, secure new logos, and expand existing customer accounts.
- Evolve and enhance CSP partnerships by introducing innovative ideas, driving enablement, developing sales strategies, and creating partner incentives to fuel growth.
- Provide regular reporting on progress and results, both internally at Upwind Security and externally to CSP partners.
- Manage and drive CSP marketplace transactions.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, staying organized, optimistic, and coachable.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management with a Cloud Service Provider or in a CSP partnership role.
- Proven track record of success in business development or partnerships within the cloud security or cloud services space.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business environment, with a focus on results and self-motivation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate value propositions and drive initiatives across diverse audiences.
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles and achieve goals.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
