Zafran is looking for a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Team Lead to join our dynamic startup. In this critical role, you will be at the forefront of building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our cutting-edge cybersecurity platform. As the DevOps Team Lead, you will have the opportunity to shape and enhance our customer-facing production environment, CI/CD pipelines, manage the multi-cloud infrastructure, and ensure the seamless operation and scalability of our services. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining our high-security standards and delivering reliable, scalable solutions to our global customers.

Zafran is the First Risk and Mitigation Platform to fight threat exploitation. Zafran transforms risk mitigation by connecting to both vulnerability data and the organization’s security controls. The platform analyzes risk while considering controls’ efficacy as well as exploitability factors, then proactively automates mitigations to eliminate the exploitation window. Backed by Sequoia and Cyberstarts, we empower security teams to mobilize existing security controls and defuse threat exploitation beyond patching

• Manage a team of experienced DevOps Engineers, direct their work, and promote projects and tasks based on the company’s high-level vision.
• Build and maintain highly available and scalable production systems.
• Ensure the seamless and rapid delivery of code changes to production in a reliable and transparent manner.
• Rapidly identify and solve problems in the production environment
• Handle complex service faults.
• Develop tools and methodologies to improve the product development process
• Work closely with the Head of Engineering, Chief Architect, and other R&D team members to push forward and consult on a wide range of solutions needed to allow the company to grow and succeed

• At least 5 years experience developing and maintaining highly available production systems.
• At least 2 years of experience with public cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/ Azure)
• Proficient with dynamic programming languages such as Python, Go, Ruby or JavaScript.
• Knowledge in building simple and efficient CI/CD pipelines using systems such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases. Experience with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch is a big advantage
• Practical experience using Kubernetes, Helm and Docker.
• Ability to manage a team, be familiar with the big picture and allocate and prioritize tasks among the different team members
• Prior work experience in an Internet/SaaS company.
• Team player who is eager to be an early adopter of new technologies.
• Strong analytic and troubleshooting skills.
